Step 1–2: assessment and final quote
Loads are counted (free at btechj.com/solarestimate), then a final JMD quote covers everything: panels (605W, J$25,000 each), hybrid inverter (6kW–12kW, J$220,000–J$430,000), optional lithium storage (J$360,000–J$450,000), mounting, protection and labour. No growing numbers later.
Step 3–4: supply and mounting
Equipment comes from BTECH’s Ocho Rios warehouse — no shipping waits. Rails (J$6,000) anchor to rafters with engineered attachment points; panels torque down with mid (J$500) and end (J$450) clamps. Hurricane-aware mounting is non-negotiable here.
Step 5: wiring and protection
PV cable (J$200/ft) runs through proper conduit to DC breakers and surge protection (J$6,000), into the inverter, then AC protection and your panel board. This layer separates professional installs from fire hazards — it is where our own installers earn their keep.
Step 6: commissioning
System configuration, monitoring setup, and — for grid-tie — the JPS net billing application, which BTECH files for you. You watch production live from day one.
